Q. What experience does The Property Renovation Company have?

A. We have 12 years experience renovating properties, from Listed buildings to a 4 bedroom house boat with a modern, contemporary finish. We undertake any job regardless of size and believe that there is a solution to every problem. We employ a reliable team of local tradespeople and are able to advise on the latest energy efficient products.


Q. Do you handle plumbing and electrical work?

A. Yes. We use a very reliable team of qualified tradespeople that can cover your plumbing and electrical needs.


Q. What sort of disruption should I expect on a major build?

A. We understand that building work on your home can be stressful. We aim to minimise the stress and disruption to you with a well planned schedule of works and Project Manage the job so that we are your single point of contact and you are kept well informed throughout.


Q. Is the price you have quoted a fixed price?

A. We will give you a fixed price (alternatively we can work on a day rate to an estimated timescale) but we can only quote for what we see. If your specifications change as the work progresses or unforeseen problems arise that will affect the cost, we will discuss these with you and seek your approval before incurring extra expense. Q. How do I pay for the work?

A. We require a 20% payment of total cost before work commences on most jobs. Please see our Terms and Conditions.


Q. Are you insured to carry out work on my premises?

A. We have Public Liability Insurance to the value of two million pounds.


Q. What about Planning Permission and Building Regulations?

A. We will instruct architects or liaise with your own architect and act as agents for all your Planning and Building Regulations requirements.


Q. What do you do with my contact details if I send for a Quick Estimate?

A. The Property Renovation Company uses this information only in correspondence and for market research purposes. We will never sell or give your details to anyone else.
